You’ll be warmly welcomed upon arrival in Siem Reap, the cultural heart of Cambodia and gateway to the legendary Angkor temples. Your private guide and driver will be waiting at the airport to escort you to your hotel, where you’ll have time to unwind and take in the first sights of this charming city.
Later in the afternoon, hop on a tuk-tuk for a ride through the suburbs — a gentle introduction to local life. Then, take part in a peaceful Buddhist blessing ceremony, where monks chant prayers for your health, happiness, and safe journey.
This evening, you’ll dine at a traditional restaurant while watching a captivating Apsara dance show — graceful movements, shimmering costumes, and ancient stories brought to life right before your eyes.
Wake up before dawn and head to Angkor Wat, where you’ll witness one of the most unforgettable sights in Southeast Asia: sunrise over the majestic temple towers. As golden light spreads across the lotus-shaped spires, it’s a magical moment you’ll never forget.
After breakfast back at the hotel, you’ll explore the grand complex of Angkor. Step through the South Gate of Angkor Thom and into history: see the smiling faces of Bayon Temple, walk past the Terrace of the Elephants, and imagine ancient royal life at the Royal Enclosure and Phimeanakas.
In the afternoon, wander through Ta Prohm, where giant trees grow through the temple walls and nature reclaims the past — a scene straight out of a movie. End your day watching the sunset from the peaceful heights of Pre Rup or Phnom Bakheng, soaking in the view as the temples fade into dusk.
After breakfast, journey out to Banteay Srei, known as the “Citadel of Women.” This pink sandstone temple is small but exquisite, with some of the most intricate carvings you’ll find in Cambodia.
Along the way, stop by Preah Dak village and meet locals going about their daily life — a chance for you to connect with Cambodia beyond the temples.
Continue on to Banteay Samre, whose peaceful atmosphere and detailed bas-reliefs make it a favorite for many travelers. In the afternoon, discover the Roluos Group — some of the oldest temples in the region. Climb Bakong, admire the ancient towers of Preah Ko, and imagine royal life from centuries ago at Lolei, built on what was once an island in a sacred reservoir.
These temples may be lesser known, but they offer a deep, quiet beauty that’s perfect for the thoughtful traveler.
On your final morning, take a relaxing boat trip to Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. As you float past stilted homes, schools, and markets, you’ll see an entire way of life that rises and falls with the water. It’s a humbling and beautiful reminder of how people adapt in harmony with nature.
After the lake, visit the Artisans Angkor workshop, where traditional crafts are preserved and promoted — and where you can pick up a meaningful souvenir.
Then it’s time for your airport transfer. As you say goodbye to Cambodia, take with you the memories of temple sunrises, spiritual encounters, and the warm smiles that greeted you at every turn.
