On this 7-day trip, you’ll discover the best of Vietnam. Beginning in Hanoi, you will ride a cyclo through the bustling old quarter and watch a traditional Water Puppet Show. Then embark on a cruise ship sailing through Halong Bay’s dotted islands. Later, you will arrive at the idyllic ancient town of Hoi An before concluding your tour in Ho Chi Minh City, where you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels to gain an understanding of Vietnamese history. Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi
Your tour guide will be waiting for you as soon as you arrive at the airport. And then you’ll be taken to the hotel. After checking in, you can have a good rest to recover from the flight.

Day 2: Hanoi
After breakfast, visit a series of Hanoi’s classic sites of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Tran Quoc Pagoda and the Quan Thanh Temple.
In the afternoon, learn about different ethnic minorities of Vietnam through a visit to the Museum of Ethnology. Next, get on a cyclo to travel through the oldest yet continuously developed area of Old Quarter and tour the serene Hoan Kiem Lake later before watching a fabulous water puppet show. You’ll definitely be blown away by this kind of unique art form.
Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is not opened on Fridays and Mondays, and most museums are not opened on Mondays.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay
This morning, leave for the marvelous Halong Bay cruise, which will take you on an exciting trip that you can spend the day enjoying the views of thousands of limestone islets and caves surrounding you. There will be also a short trip to the Surprise Cave for you to experience these natural beauties closely. What’s more, you can try swimming or paddling a kayak among the karsts sceneries. And there’re also many other activities like cooking class for you to choose. And you are to enjoy your wonderful dinner under a sky full of stars.

Halong Bay
Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City
In the morning, we recommend you to try learning Tai Chi on the sundeck before a wholesome brunch for you before you finish the cruise. After getting off the ship, head back to Hanoi (about 3.5 hrs) and be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Your local guide is going to accompany you to the hotel and you can have a break.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City
Today, visit the famous and maze-like Cu Chi Tunnels, which plays an important role in Vietnam’s history. Next is the War Remnants Museum for a glimpse of Vietnam’s fighting for independence, followed by a leisure stroll through the Reunification Palace, the Ben Thanh Market, the Old Saigon Post Office and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) within walking distance.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast at the hotel, head for the Mekong Delta area (2-3 hours’ drive). You’ll first begin with a boat cruise on the Ham Luong River, where you can breathe some fresh air while paddling along the bank. Stop to explore the area, learning how coconuts are processed and feeling the real life of the local people living in this region. There’ll be a homemade lunch served by a local family, which is going to be a life-time memory. After that, you will go back to Ho Chi Minh City.
