Traveling to Vietnam with Asia Plus Tours was one of the most touching and unforgettable experiences of my life. From the very beginning, we felt not like tourists, but like honored guests being welcomed into a beautiful and rich culture.
One of the most heartwarming memories was meeting a lovely local woman in a small village. We didn’t speak the same language, but somehow we understood each other perfectly—with smiles, laughter, and a big warm hug. It reminded me how deeply human connection goes beyond words.
We also trekked through the breathtaking mountains of Sa Pa, walking along peaceful trails, breathing in the crisp mountain air, and pausing to take in the panoramic views of the valleys and rice terraces below. My travel companion and I sat down with a guide to learn about the land, the people, and their stories. It was serene, humbling, and incredibly grounding.
Along the way, we met ethnic minority children walking beside us with cheerful smiles and curious eyes. Some of them playfully greeted us in English and offered their handmade bracelets. Their energy was pure and joyful—seeing their resilience and spirit despite living in simple conditions was incredibly moving.
The local people in Sa Pa were some of the kindest and most generous I’ve ever met. From elders to children, everyone welcomed us with sincerity. One beautiful moment was when a young man tied a red thread bracelet around my companion’s wrist—a quiet gesture that spoke volumes about connection, kindness, and respect.
After the calm and nature-filled days in Sa Pa, we returned to Hanoi, where a completely different but equally fascinating experience awaited us—visiting the famous Train Street cafés. Sitting just inches from the railway tracks with a strong cup of Vietnamese coffee in hand, we watched as the train passed by, just as locals do. It was thrilling, surreal, and uniquely Hanoi! The energy in that narrow alley, the buzz of conversations, the clinking of coffee cups, and the sudden rush as the train rolled through—it was like stepping into a movie scene.
Locals waved at us and even helped us find the perfect spot to sit for photos. It wasn’t just about the train—it was about feeling part of the daily rhythm of the city.
Asia Plus Tours curated every part of our journey with such care, comfort, and authenticity. This trip wasn’t just sightseeing—it was soul-touching. It was about connection, discovery, and joy.
Thank you, Asia Plus Tours, for showing us Vietnam in the most beautiful and heartfelt way. I carry these memories with me forever.
