During our journey in Indonesia, we explored some of the country’s most iconic landscapes, from the dramatic ridgeline of Kelingking Beach—often called the “dinosaur spine”—to the symbolic Lempuyang Temple. Beyond well-known highlights, we also experienced waterfall sliding, traveled by motorbike through rural villages, and immersed ourselves in Indonesia’s diverse natural scenery. Moving at ground level allowed us to connect more closely with local life and appreciate the country’s rich landscapes in a way that feels both active and deeply engaging.

Laos was chosen as one of our annual site inspection destinations as part of Asiaplus Tours’ ongoing commitment to improving route design and service quality. Each year, we travel to a new destination to gain firsthand insight, and our journey to Laos allowed us to better understand how travel unfolds in this slower, more contemplative part of Southeast Asia.
Moving through different regions, we reviewed travel routes, accommodations, and local services while immersing ourselves in the country’s gentle rhythm of life. What stood out most was the sense of calm, authenticity, and human connection that defines travel in Laos. This site inspection journey helped us refine Laos-combined itineraries, ensuring smoother logistics while preserving the quiet, meaningful experiences that travelers value most.

Every year, Asiaplus Tours organizes an on-the-ground journey to explore a new destination, with the aim of refining routes and elevating service quality. In 2022, we chose Thailand as our focus, traveling through key destinations to better understand local services and travel flow. This site inspection allowed us to strengthen and improve Thailand–combined itineraries, ensuring smoother connections and more meaningful experiences for our guests.

In 2018, Asiaplus Tours conducted a Textile Tour Inspection in Nam Dinh, one of Vietnam’s most important centers of traditional textile production. The journey focused on surveying routes, workshops, and local services connected to Vietnam’s long-standing weaving and fabric-making heritage. By visiting local craft villages, we gained first-hand insight into traditional techniques, artisan livelihoods, and the cultural value preserved through generations of textile craftsmanship.
As part of the inspection, we also visited Co Le Pagoda, a unique spiritual landmark known for its distinctive architecture and deep connection to the region’s cultural history. The combination of textile traditions and spiritual heritage added meaningful depth to the journey. This site inspection trip played an important role in shaping textile-focused itineraries that balance craftsmanship, cultural context, and authentic local encounters.
