This 10-day journey takes you deep into Cambodia’s heart — across ancient capitals, spiritual mountains, vibrant countryside, and the resilient soul of Phnom Penh.
From sunrise over Angkor Wat to quiet conversations in riverside villages, you’ll uncover the layers of a country shaped by empire, faith, struggle, and renewal.
Your private guide will open doors to places tourists rarely reach — like the clifftop sanctuary of Preah Vihear and the peaceful fields of Kompong Thom. Along the way, you’ll receive blessings from monks, taste home-cooked Khmer dishes, and cruise across the mighty Tonle Sap.
This isn’t just a sightseeing trip — it’s an invitation to slow down, to listen, to connect. Whether you’re standing beneath Bayon’s stone smiles or sipping sugarcane juice in a sleepy town, every day brings you closer to the real Cambodia.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, your personal guide and driver will greet you with a warm smile and a cold towel. You’ll be transferred to your hotel to rest and freshen up.
Later in the afternoon, step into a moment of calm as you take part in a traditional monk blessing ceremony, offering good fortune for your journey.
Tonight, sit down to a cultural dinner featuring Khmer cuisine accompanied by the enchanting Apsara dance — Cambodia’s ancient ballet brought to life.
Rise early for a bucket-list moment — sunrise over Angkor Wat. Watch as the morning light reveals this 12th-century masterpiece, reflected in still lotus ponds.
After breakfast, explore Angkor Thom, the royal city of the Khmer Empire. Wander through the Bayon Temple, its towers adorned with 200 smiling faces. Continue to Ta Prohm, where giant trees and temple ruins intertwine in a magical dance of nature and stone.
End the day with a quiet sunset over Phnom Bakheng, a peaceful panorama of jungle and temple spires.
Today, venture beyond the main trail. Begin with Banteay Srei, the “Citadel of Women”, renowned for its intricate pink sandstone carvings — some of the finest in the Angkor world.
Continue through the countryside to Preah Dak village, where you can chat with local families and try making palm sugar or rice snacks with them.
In the afternoon, visit Artisans Angkor, a social enterprise helping preserve traditional crafts. You’ll see stone carving, lacquerware, and silk-making — and perhaps pick up a meaningful souvenir.
Board a private boat and cruise the great Tonle Sap Lake — a lifeline for millions. You’ll glide past floating homes, schools, and markets in a community that rises and falls with the water.
Then, head to Koh Ker, a remote and haunting temple complex. Climb to the top of the seven-tiered Prasat Thom for panoramic jungle views. Unlike Angkor, few tourists reach this lost capital — and that’s part of its magic.
Leave Siem Reap behind as you travel north toward the Thai border. Along the way, pass small villages and rice paddies until you reach the dramatic Preah Vihear Temple, perched atop a mountain ridge.
This UNESCO site is not just beautiful — it’s powerful. Standing on the edge of a cliff, you’ll gaze across Cambodia and feel the spirit of centuries past.
Settle into your lodge nearby, surrounded by nature and serenity.
After breakfast, drive south to Kompong Thom, a quiet town with ancient roots. Visit the Sambor Prei Kuk temple group, a pre-Angkorian site with octagonal towers and forest-covered shrines — Cambodia’s hidden heritage at its best.
Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch near the temples or in a stilted local restaurant. In the evening, stroll by the Stung Sen River and watch children playing as the sun sets.
Today’s journey leads to Kompong Cham, a sleepy riverside town that feels like a window to the past.
You’ll cross the bamboo bridge (seasonal) to Koh Pen Island, where bicycles and ox-carts rule the roads. Visit local farms, pagodas, and markets, and enjoy a home-cooked lunch prepared by a family who will share stories over rice and vegetables from their garden.
The day ends with sunset over the Mekong River, as boats drift by and the sky turns gold.
Drive onward to Phnom Penh, the vibrant capital city. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and rest before a relaxing afternoon cyclo ride past colonial boulevards and riverfront cafés.
This evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers, followed by a Khmer fusion dinner at a riverside restaurant.
You’ll feel the pulse of the modern capital while glimpsing its royal past.
This day is about understanding Cambodia — both its beauty and its pain. Start at the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, with glittering spires and sacred treasures.
Then, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Fields, where silence speaks volumes. Your guide will share these stories with care and sensitivity.
In the afternoon, stop by Phsar Toul Tom Pong (Russian Market) for last-minute gifts or just to take in the lively chaos.
After breakfast, depending on your flight time, your guide and driver will escort you to the airport. As you head home, you’ll carry with you the sounds of temple bells, the warmth of local smiles, and memories of a country full of grace and resilience.
