Welcome to Cambodia! Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, your personal guide and driver will greet you and take you to your hotel. After settling in, stretch your legs with a stroll along the Tonle Sap riverside and catch the local vibe.
In the evening, sit down to a welcome dinner at a refined local restaurant. It’s a perfect way to ease into the journey and try your first flavors of Khmer cuisine.
This morning, dive into Cambodia’s royal heritage with a guided visit to the glittering Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Admire the golden spires, intricate murals, and peaceful gardens that still house the royal family.
Then, shift gears for a sobering but powerful visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. These places are difficult but essential to understand Cambodia’s recent past — and its incredible strength to heal.
Your afternoon includes a stop at the Russian Market, where you can browse local crafts, textiles, and street snacks.
After breakfast, take a scenic drive west to Battambang, a peaceful city known for its colonial charm and artsy energy. Along the way, stop in Kompong Chhnang for a glimpse of traditional pottery villages and rural life.
In the afternoon, hop aboard the famous Bamboo Train — a quirky local invention that zips through open rice fields. You’ll be smiling the entire ride.
Wrap up your day with a walk along ’s riverside and admire the fading colonial buildings bathed in golden light.
Start your morning with a visit to a local NGO-run art school where underprivileged youth are trained in visual and performing arts — a touching window into the community’s creativity.
Later, explore Wat Banan, a hilltop temple often compared to a mini Angkor Wat. Then continue to Phnom Sampeau, a striking limestone mountain with hidden caves that hold both natural beauty and haunting history from Khmer Rouge times.
Before returning to your hotel, pause for a panoramic sunset view over the lush countryside.
This morning, journey north toward Siem Reap. Along the way, stop to visit a floating village on Tonle Sap Lake — home to families who live entirely on the water. Glide by boat past floating schools, shops, and houses that rise and fall with the seasons.
By late afternoon, arrive in Siem Reap and check in at your hotel. The evening is yours to relax or explore the buzzing night markets.
Rise early to witness the legendary sunrise over Angkor Wat — a moment you’ll never forget. As dawn breaks, watch the towers reflect in still lotus ponds.
After breakfast, enter Angkor Thom via the South Gate and meet the smiling stone faces of Bayon Temple. Walk through the Royal Enclosure and the Terrace of the Elephants, where ancient ceremonies once unfolded.
Continue to Ta Prohm, the “jungle temple,” where roots and ruins intertwine in a dramatic embrace. The day ends with sunset at Pre Rup temple or from a quiet countryside viewpoint.
Today you’ll venture to Banteay Srei, the “Citadel of Women,” a pink sandstone jewel famed for its detailed carvings.
On the way back, stop at a local village where you’ll learn how traditional rice noodles are made. Enjoy a hands-on farming experience or simply sip fresh coconut water while chatting with your host family.
In the evening, celebrate your final night with a cultural dinner and traditional Apsara dance performance.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Depending on your flight time, take a short walk, shop for last-minute souvenirs, or relax at your hotel before your guide transfers you to the airport.
You leave Cambodia not only with photos but with stories, friendships, and a deep connection to its spirit.
