Welcome to Cambodia! Upon arrival in Siem Reap, your private guide and driver will greet you and take you to your hotel. After some rest, head out for a short tuk-tuk ride through nearby local streets and neighborhoods.
In the late afternoon, take part in a peaceful monk blessing ceremony — a traditional way to begin your journey with good fortune. In the evening, enjoy a delicious Khmer dinner accompanied by a beautiful Apsara dance performance.
Rise early for one of travel’s most breathtaking sights: sunrise over Angkor Wat. Watch the temple’s iconic towers glow gold as they reflect in the lotus ponds below.
After breakfast, explore Angkor Thom — walk through the towering South Gate and stand before the serene faces of Bayon Temple. Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and Royal Palace ruins.
In the afternoon, wander through Ta Prohm, where nature reclaims stone — its walls wrapped in silk-cotton tree roots. End your day with a sunset view at Pre Rup or Phnom Bakheng, offering sweeping views over the countryside.
Leave the city behind and head to Phnom Kulen National Park, a sacred mountain to the Khmer people. Joined by a local forest ranger, you’ll trek through peaceful jungle trails to discover hidden pagodas, ancient carvings in the riverbed, and the stunning Kulen waterfall.
After a picnic-style lunch by the falls, take a refreshing dip or simply relax by the water. On your way back, stop at a rural village for a glimpse into daily life far from the tourist track.
Today you’ll head to Tonle Sap, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. Board a private boat to explore a floating village, where schools, homes, and markets float atop the water. Watch fishermen cast nets and children paddle to school — life here is shaped entirely by the rhythms of the lake.
Later, return to Siem Reap and stop at Artisans Angkor, where young Cambodians preserve traditional crafts like silk weaving and wood carving. It’s a great chance to support local talent and pick up meaningful souvenirs.
Prepare for a true Indiana Jones moment as you explore Beng Mealea — a vast, semi-collapsed temple swallowed by jungle. With moss-covered stones and crumbling towers, it’s one of the most atmospheric sites around Angkor.
On your way, stop by a local market or village, where your guide will help introduce you to local produce, snacks, and daily life.
If you have energy left, enjoy an optional evening stroll in Siem Reap’s lively night markets or relax at your hotel.
Begin your day at Banteay Srei, the “Citadel of Women.” This petite pink sandstone temple is famous for its intricate carvings that still dazzle after a thousand years. It’s a masterpiece in miniature.
Then, continue to Preah Dak village, where you’ll meet local families and enjoy a simple meal or snack in their company. See how noodles are made or how herbs are grown — it’s the small stories that leave the biggest impressions.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and some final time in town. Depending on your flight schedule, your guide and driver will transfer you to the airport.
As you leave Cambodia behind, carry with you the golden sunrises, ancient stones, jungle sounds, and heartfelt smiles that made this journey unforgettable.
