After breakfast in Hanoi, your guide and driver will take you on a scenic journey toward Ha Giang. As you leave the bustle of the capital behind, the landscape slowly transforms into rolling mountains, winding rivers, and terraced rice fields. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to meet friendly locals and enjoy the first glimpses of northern Vietnam’s beauty.
By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Tien Thang Village, a peaceful Tay settlement nestled in a green valley surrounded by rice paddies. After settling into your homestay, you can stroll around the village, chat with locals, or even join your host family in preparing dinner.

This morning, take a gentle walk to Thon Tha Village, home to the Tay people, where stilt houses and palm-shaded paths create a serene atmosphere.
The road then climbs higher into the mountains, offering increasingly dramatic scenery. You’ll stop at Quan Ba Pass and the famous Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where sweeping views stretch over valleys and limestone peaks—perfect for photography.
By afternoon, arrive in Yen Minh, a quiet town surrounded by hills. You’ll have time to explore a nearby ethnic village before checking into your hotel for a restful evening.

After breakfast, continue your adventure into the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO-recognized site where 80% of the terrain is dramatic limestone formations shaped over millions of years.
On the way, visit a traditional Hmong village in Lung Cam and the historic Palace of the Hmong King (Vuong family residence), which reflects the region’s rich cultural heritage.
After lunch, the road winds toward Meo Vac, with stops to admire the spectacular Ma Pi Leng Pass—often hailed as one of the most stunning mountain passes in Vietnam. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation. If time allows, you may visit a nearby Hmong village before dinner.
If today is Sunday, you’ll begin your day with a visit to the Meo Vac Sunday Market, where ethnic groups gather in their colorful traditional dress to trade goods and socialize—a lively and photogenic experience.
On the way back to Ha Giang, stop in Lung Tam Village, where Hmong artisans practice traditional brocade weaving. After lunch in Quan Ba, continue your journey to Ha Giang City, arriving by late afternoon. The evening is free to relax.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing for Hanoi. The return trip offers more chances to pause for photos and soak in the mountain scenery. Arrival in Hanoi is expected in the afternoon, marking the end of your Ha Giang adventure.
